Product Description

It might not be complicated or too taxing on the palate, but I enjoy this as a light, characterful, juicy Pinot - the sort you happily glug in a French bistro. Made by Pierre Chainier, who own the largest vineyard holdings in Touraine, a blend of Pinot Noir grown on limestone soils in the cooler area to the east of Touraine bringing good typicity and grapes sourced from the warmer south of France to add weight and richness. Gentle oak treament gives a smooth character to the wine. Smooth and supple Pinot Noir bursting with juicy berry fruit flavours. Well-balanced with a hint of warm spice and a soft yet fresh finish. This lighter style of Pinot would work with charcuterie, paté or goats cheese.
