've always enjoyed the wines from Nimes as they are akin to Rhone Valley wines - so I was delighted when I tried this and found it immensely appealing. The Grenache and Syrah combine beautifully with a fantastic nose and deliciously sweet raspberry flavours. There's a herby influence too and a lick of new oak to wrap it all together. Its a big wine yet approachable already and would be ideal with robust hearty casseroles or a lump of beef.
A powerful wine with great structure and smooth tannins. Packed with liquorice and ripe black fruit, baking spices and herbal/garrigue flavours, with a richness from a lick of new oak.
