Gold Sommelier Wine Awards 2020 Bronze Decanter Awards for the 2017 vintage

Gold Sommelier Wine Awards 2019   Top 100 The Wine Merchant for the 2016 vintage

Aromas of ripe black cherry and damson with a hint of toasty spice. Rich and generous on the palate - full-flavoured with intense plum and sour cherry fruit, and notes of dark chocolate - balanced by tangy, juicy acidity.

Yet another Gold Medal in this years Sommelier Wine Awards following on from a Gold last year for the 2016 vintage. Grown from only 6hectares, with young and old vines, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barriques, of which 10-15% is new oak. Aromas of ripe black cherry, damson and toasty spice. A rich palate with plum and sour cherry fruit, juicy acidity, and notes of dark chocolate on the finish. This is a great insight in to how undervalued and underestimated Barbera can be.

A Top 100 Wine and a Bronze medal Winner in the prestigious 2016 Decanter Awards. This is a good summer red wine as it oozes vibrant, cherry mouth-watering acidity which means it can be drunk slightly chilled. Its quite serious for its price and there'a alot going on for a sub £8 bottle. It is deeply coloured with a nose of intense ripe damson and black cherry, woodsmoke and brown spices. Ripe and generous on the palate, robust and full-flavoured with intense plum and cherry fruit, balanced by fresh acidity and a savoury tang.

The 2015 vintage has won a Silver in the IWC and the IWSC
