Historically the Arinto grape has been blended with others varietals to make the 'basic Vinho Verde' It was known to be the freshest grape too so I suppose it was inevitable to try to make a single variety Vinho Verde using just this grape. The result is fabulous. Theres really nice fruit and its slightly different from the norm - there's tropical fruits with citrus acidity but its all really engaging. Dry with an interesting deep long finish.
