2023 vintage - The wind-blasted slopes of the Schaapenberg are one of the best sites for Sauvignon Blanc in South Africa, producing small crops of intensely flavoured berries. Fermented in older French oak, this is nettley, tangy and zippy, with undertones of salt and umami and a core of lime and wet stones. 92 Pts Tim Atkin, South Africa Special report 2024

Biodynamic Estate.
Difficult to categorise, with elements of both New and Old World, this is a delicious and distinctive style with ripe, honeyed fruit perfectly balanced by bracing acidity. Juicy and immediate with a rich, textural palate around a mineral, lightly saline core, the
vibrant fruit gives way to reveal nuanced, lightly herbal characters and a taut, long finish. From very low yielding vineyards farmed to biodynamic principles and with no additives or treatments other than a small amount of sulphur at bottling, this is outstanding Sauvignon
by any standards.
Crushed laurel on the nose along with lime and goosberries and a lightly salty tang. This is a ripe and textured style of Sauvignon, with good concentration of citrus and stone fruit characters and fennel hints – it is rich and minerally, showing even a slight rocky quality about it.
