This is a terrific value, everyday white that so characterises southern French winemaking. Its a classic blend of Grenache, Marsanne and Roussanne - its aromatic, weighty, has good flavours and it's oh so French! Normally I shy away from humorous labels ( it started with Chat-en-Oeuf ) but the wine here is too good to ignore as the judges found in The Decanter Wine Awards for the 2014 vintage that won a Silver medal 'Stone fruit and mineral notes, underlying touch of lemon and hints of apple.
