The kind of wine that makes you really, really want a platter piled with fried whitebait, chunks of lemon and a huge bowl of aioli. 16pts Jancis Robinson (July 2025)
Made by an award winning, innovative co-operative, this is a classic fresh and vibrant Picpoul. Well perfumed, ripe melon fruit on the nose. The palate is weighty and ripe but remains fresh and saline. After a well-rounded attack, the palate is lifted up by a crisp note typical of the wines from this terroir. Lovely juicy mouthwatering fresh fruit on the finish - ideal pairing with the local oysters from the Etang de Thau from whence it comes!
