The Xarel-lo grape isn't particularly well known but its claim to fame is that it goes into Cava production. Shame really as it can produce some beautiful wines full of character and intrigue. Im particularly pleased with myself for identifying this cracker as its was awarded a Silver Medal in the 2020 Sommelier Wine Awards. Irresistable ripe apple aromas, its just slightly off-dry but with amazing ripe lemon acidity to balance stone fruit on the palate.  Luscious long, gently textural finish.
