I suppose everyone is familiar with Merlot and there are lots of reasons for drinking it with its easy ripe. luscious fruit but add in more than a splash of Mourvedre then the base wine is lifted way above one's expectations with glorious southern French  style and spice.

Brightly perfumed fruit, a hint of lavender, then classic Merlot flavours: ripe and rich red summer berries, plums and damsons. The Mourvèdre shows its grip with warm spice and a green, herby edge on the finish.
