This is a fabulous, high-energy example of a resurgently popular grape variety that is often used in blends rather than on its own. It's easy to see why they have decided to give it a go on its own as this is just so inviting. There are hints of Riesling with racey lime acidity balancing the apricot and peach flavours that Viognier is renowned for. There's also quite a bit of 'well hidden' oak giving a lovely mouthfeel and extra dimension to the lengthy full on finish. Tremendous wine.
