I am always surprised how good this 'simple' claret is. Ripe and approachable with a touch of class and good depth of flavours from an excellent vintage. As you would expect from the Cote de Castillon, this is Merlot dominated with the other 20% Cab Sauvignon - a classic right bank blend.

Rich, plush black fruits and a hint of herbal mintiness on the nose. More dark fruit and herbs on the ripe, full-bodied palate with grippy yet well-integrated tannins on the finish.
