Oh my word! What a nose! Super perfumed with nearly hints of aged riesling. So much going on with amazing full flavours of apples and a terrific mouthfeel. Superb and slightly off piste - I urge you to give it a go!
Comparatively young 20-30 year old vines and a drier style make this very drinkable right now. Bright and fresh , a Chenin for the sunshine. Grown on a mixture of clay and silex. The wine is split into thirds to age in steel, barrel and egg for 10 months. the finished wine has just 2-3g/l RS Richer than you might be expecting, saline minerality and a red-apple 'bite', lots of thirst-quenching acidity lead to a very moreish quality. Super versatile - has enough richness and ripeness to partner a wide range of dishes but would also drink extreemly well on its own.
